In January 2010, we opened the doors to our second office, in the heart of Bishop’s Stortford. The company already had a strong sales presence in Bishop’s Stortford and it was a natural progression for us to move into this larger market. Bishop's Stortford is a historic market town in the county of Hertfordshire. It is situated on the border with Essex and is the closest large town to London Stansted Airport and part of the London commuter belt. Bishop's Stortford is 35 miles north of London and 27 miles south of Cambridge.
The attractive town centre still has its market on a Thursday alongside a wide range of shopping facilities, restaurants and coffee shops. The town is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside with pretty villages that are only a short drive away.
Superb road links including the M11 and A120 provide great access to the rest of the country's road network and a high speed train line runs to London Liverpool Street (38 mins), Cambridge (31 mins) and Stansted Airport (9 mins).
Education in the town is particularly strong with an exceptional range of 13 primary and five secondary schools which attract many home movers from outside the area. There is also an independent school, Bishop's Stortford College, which covers the whole educational spectrum from ages four to 18.
