David Lee Estates' first office opened in Stansted Mountfitchet in September 2004 concentrating on the sale of residential property, but soon moved into the private rental market as well due to the high demand from local landlords that loved the David Lee brand. The lettings department grew quickly and soon became an integral part of the business, enabling David Lee to provide the full moving home service.

Although still a village, Stansted offers a wide range of amenities including a variety of shops and restaurants, public houses, three primary schools, a secondary school and a mainline railway station.
The train station offers mainline services between London Liverpool Street, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. The village is within easy reach of the M11 and A120, providing excellent access to the rest of the country's road network.
Three primary schools are situated in the village - Bentfield School in Rainsford Road, St Marys CE Foundation, which relocated to brand new premises in 2012, and the Magna Carta Primary Academy in St Johns Road, which opened in 2016. Forest Hall School (previously known as Mountfitchet Mathematics and Computing College) provides secondary education and is situated on Church Road to the south east of the village.
We have seen a lot of growth and improvement to services in the village in recent years including the addition of over 600 new homes at Forest Hall Park, an award winning development.
