Our Land Researchers are an incredible team of individuals who leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of finding the next big opportunity or indeed highlighting development potential to land owners.

As a result of the rapid growth of our Land & New Homes division, we are now looking for that special person or people to come and help us grow this important part of the business further.

You will be responsible for Essex and Hertfordshire and will need to demonstrate the ability to follow systems and processes as well as inputting ideas to constantly strive for further innovation in our approach.   You will monitor changes within Planning Policy as well as tracking planning applications and following up on historic planning consents or refusals in order that we can help our clients unlock value from their assets.

We have industry-leading technology to support our Land Researchers in their work which is backed up by a market leading database CRM system enabling to keep track of opportunities.

Working directly with the Directors of the business, you will be accountable for researching new land opportunities and ensuring that these are assessed thoroughly.

We are looking for somebody with at least 6 months estate agency experience who can join our established, successful and growing team in Bishop’s Stortford. Anybody without this experience will unfortunately not be considered for this particular vacancy.

As well as selling skills and high levels of customer service, you will need to also have experience of providing high levels of customer service to both buyers and sellers.

The salary offered will be made up of a basic salary plus commission. As this is a 'selling’ role, you will naturally be targeted on various aspects of the job and will be expected to achieve these targets.

The successful candidate will be of smart appearance, be well spoken, have great telephone and face to face communication skills and be comfortable working with a client database and Microsoft packages etc. As with most sales roles, you may be expected to work some Saturdays.

  • Do you hold a full UK driving license?
  • Are you prepared to work Saturdays?
